Election time!
On the Nation Meeting on 3rd of May, a lot of positions will be up for election or re-election! So if you want to get actively involved with Smålands, now it’s your chance. Specifically:
–Pub responsible (1 year)
Seats up for election: 6
Is responsible for the alcohol service and managing the workers during pubs and clubs.
–Liquor commissar (1 year)
Seats up for election: 2
Is responsible for the serving of liquor.
–Summer Pubbis (June 2021-August 2021)
Seats up for election: 2
Is responsible for the alcohol service and managing the workers during the summer pubs.
–Cleaner (1 year)
Seats up for election: 1
Paid position!
Is responsible for the cleaning of the pub twice a week. Receives a salary by the hour.
–Club responsible (1 year)
Seats up for election: 6
Is responsible for planning and organising clubs and pubs in the nation venue.
— Awareness team member (1 year)
Seats up for election: 3
Is responsible for the anti-harassment and awareness work during the clubs.
–Technical responsible (1 year)
Seats up for election: 1
Is responsible for maintaining the sound and light technical equipment.
–Summer klubbis (June 2021-August 2021)
Seats up for election: 2
Is responsible for planning and organising summer pubs in the nation venue.
–Political Agent (1 year)
Seats up for election: 1Is responsible for coordinating the political work at the nation, organising the People’s Alternative Academy and takes part in KPV.
–Equality Agent (1 year)

Is responsible for the internal intersectional feminist work at the nation.
–Environmental Agent (1 year)

Is responsible for the internal environmental policy of the nation.
–Ronja Responsible (1 year)
Seats up for election: 1
Is responsible for organising and planning the Feminist Café Ronja.
–Dackekuriren editor (1 year)
Seats up for election: 1
Is responsible for coordinating the editing of the Dackekuriren newspaper.
–Dackelayouter (1 year)
Seats up for election: 1
Is responsible for the editing of the Dackekuriren newspaper.
–Kitchen master (1 year)
Seats up for election: 5
Is responsible for cooking for the nation’s events where alcohol is served.
–Café commissar (1 year)
Seats up for election: 2
Is responsible for the cooking and planning of Kalles Café.
–Cultural Agent (1 year)
Seats up for election: 1
Is responsible for planning and organising cultural activities for the nation’s members.
–Minister of sports (1 year)
Seats up for election: 1
Is responsible for organising sporting activities for the nation’s members and using the sports’ hall at Katedralskolan.
–Master of Games (1 year)

Is responsible for organising the games pub CCCP (Cauldrons, Chests, Claymores and Potions).
–Radio Committee Planning Responsible (1 year)

Is responsible for planning and hosting the Smål Talk podcast together with the rest of the team
–Radio Committee Technical Responsible (1 year)

Is responsible for audio technicalities, editing and cutting the Smål Talk podcast.
–Photo commissar (1 year)

Is a photographer and/or photo editor during events.
–Web editor (1 year)

Is responsible for editing and updating the nation home page.
–Media and communication responsible (1 year)
Seats up for election: 1
Is responsible for the nation’s external communication and promoting events.
–International secretary (1 year)
Seats up for election: 1
Is responsible for the communication in English towards international students and the translation of internal material.
–Auditor + Auditor Substitute (1 year)
Seats up for election: 1+1
Is responsible for checking the book keeping.
–Network responsible (1 year)
Seats up for election: 1
Is responsible for maintaining the network, and web and mail servers.
–Election Committee member (1 year)
Seats up for election: 2
Is responsible for conducting interviews with nominees for elected positions and for on the basis of these interviews giving recommendations to the nation meeting on which nominee to elect.
Smålands Nation Accommodation
–SNB board member + substitute (2 years)
Seats up for election: 2+2
Is responsible for attending the housing (SNB) board’s meetings. On the board meetings decisions about the economy and the activities of SNB are made.
–House foreperson (1 year)
Seats up for election: 1
Is responsible for maintaining contact between SNB and the tenants, and acts as jour for tenants who are locked out.Receives a yearly rent reduction of 900kr SEK.
Administration
–Nationsombud (1 year)
Seats up for election: 1
Paid Position!
Is the administrator of the nation. Receives a monthly salary.
–Vice-treasurer (1 year)
Seats up for election: 1
Is responsible for the book keeping and budget.
–Board member (2 years)
Seats up for election: 1
Is responsible for attending the nation’s board’s meetings and there act in the best interests of the nation. On the board meetings decisions about the economy and the activities of the nation are made.
